UNIBAP: Order from Contec Space Optics
Unibap has received an order for its iX10 solution valued at 1,1 MEUR for a smaller constellation from the South Korean payload provider Contec Space Optics (CSO). The order consists of Unibap® iX10 hardware, first year annual software licenses and services to be delivered during 2025. The order is pending export license approval from the Swedish authorities.
- The fact that CSO moved directly to a constellation order without prior qualification project is a testament to the work we did during 2023 and 2024 to earn customers' trust, even though we do not expect this to be the normal case yet. CSO will integrate Unibap's edge computers with advanced space optics and communication modules, and then deliver the complete payload to the eventual satellite integrator. This is also an important first order from the Korean market, showing that our expanded sales coverage is bearing fruit.
