SDS confirms SEK 14-16 million in secured EBT for 2026 - new system order of SEK 4 million shows leverage after restructuring
Seamless Distribution Systems AB (publ) ("SDS") has received an order worth a total of SEK 4 million from an existing telecom customer in Northeast Africa. The agreement is for an upgrade to the ERS 5 platform - the company's latest generation sales and distribution system - as well as a redundancy solution for the highest possible uptime.
Following a thorough restructuring in 2025, SDS's recurring revenue from customer support now covers the company's total operating costs. New contracts thus go directly to profit and cash flow. With this order and previous orders in January and February, the secured profit before tax for the full year 2026 amounts to SEK 14-16 million. The guidance for the full year 2026 remains at SEK 45-55 million in profit before tax, which was communicated in January, and is based on the historical inflow of new product licenses over the past five years.
The delivery includes an upgrade to ERS 5 - SDS's latest platform generation for the sale and distribution of digital products - as well as the implementation of an Active Disaster Recovery solution that ensures continuous operation in the event of disruptions. Associated professional services are included. Revenues are reported on an ongoing basis in line with delivery.
The order shows that SDS's existing customer base is generating growth opportunities beyond the original implementation. With a cost structure where recurring revenue covers the company's total costs, each upgrade and expansion of existing customer relationships has an immediate effect on earnings.
"This order confirms two things: that our customers are investing in the next generation platform, and that our new cost structure means that each new contract improves earnings immediately. We have now secured SEK 14-16 million in EBT for 2026 and the forecast of SEK 45-55 million remains." comments Martin Schedin, CEO
