JonDeTech Launches an Evaluation Kit for the JIRS40 Sensor

JonDeTech Sensors AB (publ) ("JonDeTech" or the "Company") announces today that the Company has launched an Evaluation Kit (EVK) for its IR sensor JIRS40. The JIRS40 is a sensor capable of measuring temperature from a distance and can be used for presence detection.

The EVK for JIRS40 is designed to allow engineers and developers at the Company's existing and new customers to quickly access the JIRS40 for testing and evaluating JonDeTech's unique sensor product. The EVK for JIRS40 consists of an interface card with an accompanying module card containing the IR sensor JIRS40, which can be easily connected and used with evaluation tools on computers.

The EVK for JIRS40 includes a number of predefined algorithms for presence detection and the function to measure temperature contactlessly.

The purpose is for the EVK to be sold globally so that more manufacturers and module houses can have the opportunity to evaluate JonDeTech's products, which will shorten the entry process and facilitate a smoother and faster integration of JonDeTech's sensors into various applications within industries such as consumer electronics, healthcare, and automotive.
