Annehem builds a municipal preschool in Valhall Park

Annehem Fastigheter and the municipality Ängelholms kommun has signed an agreement for the creation of a preschool in Valhall Park. The preschool is planned to have seven departments and a total capacity of more than 100 children. The lease contract runs until 2032 and encompasses ca 2,000 sqm.

The preschool will be housed in an existing building that will be rebuilt and adapted for the new purpose. The building, which was previously used as accommodation, has good preconditions to be rebuilt into a modern preschool premise with proximity to nature. In addition, large energy savings are made in the rebuild.

"It feels great to expand our collaboration with Ängelholms kommun, which is an important partner in Valhall Park. The municipality's preschool will be a nice element that fits well into the mix of businesses we have in Valhall Park. It is also great that an older building can be renovated and made energy-efficient in a lovely environment for our smallest Ängelholmers." says Johan Flodmark, Property Manager Annehem Fastigheter.

The municipality already has an extensive lease in Valhall Park for its secondary education. In 2007, Ängelholms gymnasieskola moved its vocational courses to Valhall Park under the name Valhall College. Here they offer educational programs for restaurants and food, child recreation, construction, vehicles, and electrical.
