Financial Times gives top rating to Testament Winery
Financial Times recently published an article on "Is central and eastern Europe the next big thing in wine?" Testament Winery's white wine Testament Posip and red wine The Dalmatian Dog Babic are rated as top wines from the region among the 500 wines that were tasted. In addition, Financial Times describes Croatia as a genuine and stimulating wine country with a wide variety of indigenous grapes and high level of winemaking skill.
"We are very excited about the excellent review of our wines in the recent edition of Financial Times. We are also happy that one of the world's leading news organizations have concluded that Croatia being part of the 'the next big thing in wine' is more than a hype. We feel confident that our strategy to produce premium wines from Croatia's indigenous grapes will continue to be successful", says Robert Karlsson, CEO of Zhoda Investments.
Financial Times was founded in 1888 and is one of the world's leading news organizations. It recently published an article on "Is central and eastern Europe the next big thing in wine? For once, the hype seems justified - but you'll struggle to get hold of many top bottles."
The article covered 500 wines from 55 producers from Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine.
Two of Testament Winery's wines received top ratings. Testament Posip was rated as one of the best six white wines and The Dalmatian Dog Babic as one of the two best wines from central and eastern Europe that are available for sale in the UK.
Furthermore, Financial Times notes, "Of the other countries whose wines I tasted, Croatia was the most stimulating".
In Sweden, the wines are available through Systembolaget.
