Columbian Fruit Group (CFG) and Wyld Networks announce a partnership to deliver sensor-to-satellite technology for the organic agriculture sector in Columbia
In preparation for the upcoming launch of Wyld’s sensor to satellite IoT solution, Wyld Networks today announce a partnership with CFG to bring remote sensor connectivity to the South American agriculture market to enable increased data capture in areas of poor or no cellular coverage.
CFG are leading an organic transition in Colombian agriculture utilising data driven agronomics. With Wyld’s satellite Internet of Things (IoT) solution, CFG will solve connectivity issues that currently hold back an affordable implementation of the IoT in remote locations.
“Our main mission is to convert all conventional agriculture in Colombia to organic and biodynamic farming. This can only be achieved if we utilise data provided by a satellite connected internet of things at low power. Our partnership with Wyld is key to delivering this success.”
“Columbian Fruit Group are at the heart of a rapidly developing, high value, organic agriculture emerging from the region. Increasing data capture through Satellite connected IoT will underpin success in the vertical and we are delighted to be on this journey together to increase yields, reduce inputs and deliver sustainability,” said Alastair Williamson, Wyld Networks CEO.
Wyld Connect, sensor to satellite IoT is developed by Wyld Networks.
