H&D Digital Twin Industries AB receives order for the installation of 5G RF tags in private 5G networks. Order value approx. 500 KSEK.

The RF tags can be used for services such as Asset Management, Fleet Management, and Process Flow (Patient Flow), which in a hospital setting means, for example, tracking critical hospital equipment, vehicles, as well as hospital beds and emergency gurneys indoors. The potential of the solution includes improved patient safety, operational efficiency, reduced costs, insights from flow reports, improved staff productivity by reducing the time spent searching for critical equipment, medical waste management processes, regulatory compliance support, and enhanced data security.

The driving force behind the solution is the rollout of the new 5G SA infrastructure for private networks, which is currently being deployed within both private enterprises and the public sector for strategic operations in Sweden and Europe. A major advantage regarding positioning compared to GPS is that 5G Private Networks are much harder to jam or disrupt during sabotage or hybrid warfare, and above all, it enables the indoor positioning of equipment and personnel. The end customer is a hospital in central Sweden, and the project will be carried out during 2026.
