Tuesday, 10th November 2020 - Green last mile logistics provider, Urb-it earns B Corporation certification due to its impact and continuous innovation in sustainable logistics. Urb-it now joins the fast-growing movement of more than 3500 certified B Corporations across 150 industries in 74 countries including companies like Patagonia, Ben & Jerry's, and The Bodyshop.
Adhering to the company mission - to transform urban logistics with a human service that fights for the health of cities - Urb-it joins a network of companies that meet the highest standard of social and environmental performance. Satisfying a rigorous set of standards to achieve certification, the new status will boost Urb-it's sustainability agenda and improve business capability.
Urb-it will leverage the 3500 strong B Corp network to engage and learn best practices so that it can bolster business performance and advance its social and environmental mission. Specifically, Urb-it will build on this by joining the "Climate Collective", a network of more than 800 companies who have committed to NetZero 2030.
