Eevia Health Plc receives a new and more recognized Kosher certificate
Eevia Health Plc, ("Eevia" or "The Company"), has been certified by OK Kosher, US.
Eevia had earlier a Kosher certification from OK Kosher in New York, but this certification was discontinued in 2021 and replaced with a local Kosher certificate from the Jewish Community of Helsinki. However, multiple prospects with whom Eevia discusses larger business contracts did not accept the local Kosher certificate. They required a Kosher certificate from one of the "Big Five" Kosher certification agencies. These are the largest Kosher certification agencies, certifying more than 80% of the Kosher food sold in the US. These five agencies are the OU, OK, KOF-K, Star-K, and CRC.
Hence, to be able to proceed with these significant prospects, Eevia had to comply with this requirement. One of the prospects is one of the largest food corporations in the world, so the extra effort was defendable.
The Kosher certification verifies that the ingredients, and production processes, including all machinery, and/or food-service processes, comply with the standards of Jewish dietary law. This means Eevia Health follows a strict policy of Kosher food laws, including cleanliness, purity, and quality, and can assure high quality and safe products. The Parve status confirms that the products are not of meat or milk origin.
Kosher means more than responsible food preparation. Kosher refers to a set of intricate biblical laws that detail the types of food that a Jewish person may eat and how it may be prepared. To be certified Kosher, all ingredients in every product-and the process of preparing the product-must be certified for orthodox kosher-compliance too.
Food products certified as Kosher are consumed not only by followers of Judaism but also by followers of Islam, vegetarians, and consumers who place a high priority on food safety. Kosher certification creates, therefore, exact value for certain key customers. Eevia expects to receive new orders and sales contracts because of the re-certification.

INFORMATION ABOUT EEVIA HEALTH PLC
Eevia Health Plc, founded in March 2017, addresses significant health problems with bioactive compounds extracted from plant materials. The materials are primarily wild harvested from the pristine Finnish and Swedish forests near or above the Arctic Circle. The extracts are sold B2B as ingredients in dietary supplements and food brands globally. These global brands utilize the ingredients in their consumer product formulas.
Eevia Health is a manufacturer of 100% organically certified plant extracts. Although a significant product, Elderberry extract, is made from cultivated berries, most of Eevia's other raw materials, such as bilberry, lingonberry, chaga-mushroom, and pine bark, are wild-harvested in a sustainable fashion.
Eevia Health operates a modern green-chemistry production facility in Finland. Manufacturing natural ingredients near the raw material harvest areas, Eevia offers a short value chain with an environmentally friendly carbon footprint, competitive pricing, and extreme transparency. Eevia listed its shares at Spotlight Stock Market in Sweden in June 2021, with the short name EEVIA.
