Eevia Health Plc appoints Breko as distributor in DACH countries
Eevia Health Plc, ("Eevia" or "The Company") has appointed Breko GmbH in Bremen, Germany as its new distributor in the territory of Germany (D), Austria (A), and Switzerland (CH), also referred to as DACH countries, as well as for some selected Asian countries.
Eevia Health has appointed Breko GmbH out of Bremen as its new distributor in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and some selected Asian countries. Breko has a long and robust history and offers a range of ingredient products for the food and beverage industry as well as for food supplements, functional food, and cosmetic products. With over 100 years of industry experience in the wine industry, Breko has developed expertise in polyphenol extract products and organic ingredients for food and supplement applications.
According to an industry report from Mordor intelligence, the Europe Nutraceutical Market size is expected to grow from USD 79.95 billion in 2023 to USD 101.60 billion by 2028, at a CAGR of 4.91% during the forecast period (2023-2028). Germany holds a prominent market share of the total European market with a very wide base of consumer brands and nutraceutical companies. Germany has around 108 million consumers, which makes it the largest retail market in Europe. Consumers in Germany demand high-quality products, including organic and health and wellness products.
Furthermore, due to the high elderly population, the interest in healthy aging and prevention of age-related health issues is growing. According to the World Bank data from 2021, about 21.13% of the population in Europe is above the age of 65. Because of this, the region's requirement for nutraceuticals and functional foods is increasing.
Eevia and Breko have now joined forces to market polyphenol ingredients to over 700 listed leads and prospects. Last week Eevia arranged a training seminar in Finland for key Breko personnel. The parties see mutual opportunities for the development and marketing of new innovative polyphenol extracts, which will be sold as a branded ingredient to selected customers in the territories. Breko already has relevant sales opportunities, which they think they now will be able to source from Eevia.
